Senior Pastors Jonathan and Amarylis Hidalgo lead The Encounter Church with a heart for people and a passion to see lives changed through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Jonathan was born and raised in Elgin Illinois and grew up familiar with church life. Over time he came to truly experience God and developed a passion for music the Word of God and serving people.
Today they serve in New Port Richey Florida with a mission to reach people who are hurting broken overlooked or in need of hope.
Their desire is to lead people to the cross where they can encounter Jesus Christ and experience hope love and purpose.
